Oscar Valdez, Principal / Creative DirectorOscar began his design career at digital media startups and boutique design studios where he cut his teeth in all aspects of design and marketing. Eventually, making a shift to advertising, he transitioned his career to join some of the biggest global agencies where he worked on blue-chip brands such as IBM, American Express, Motorola and Coca-Cola.
Recognizing a need for exceptional and strategy driven creative in typically underserved markets, Oscar founded Detyper Studio. Storytelling has always been central to his vision which is why he has spent over 20 years helping businesses tell their brand stories that engage audiences and customers.
